Blood
Comprehensive blood wellness panels of biomarkers for hematology, inflammation, metabolic, diabetes prevention, cardiovascular, and hormone related diseases providing a basis for early detection, effective treatment, and disease reversal.
Cardiovascular- Lipid Groups, specifically Lipoproteins and Apo Lipoproteins, help determine patient’s risk for cardiovascular and related diseases. Using these results to form a patient centered wellness plan is a great way to start to a healthy lifestyle and achieve complete wellness.
Inflammation- Humans are visual by nature. But it is not always what is on the outside that counts. What happens inside our bodies is equally as important and often overlooked. Detecting blood factors that cause inflammation within our bodies also helps predict patient risk factors that may lead to heart disease, stroke, or heart attacks.
Metabolic- Metabolic biomarkers give a visual of what is happening within our livers and the way our body regulates insulin levels.
Hormone-Hormone biomarkers are equally important to all patients and also affect the way insulin levels are regulated, thus determining the way a patients looks and feels.
Quantum Diagnotics’ ability to provide biomarker clinical data gives treating clinicians the ability to alter the lives of millions of patients using coordinated care plans that are both measurable and effective.
Blood Allergy
Allergies are a common and chronic condition that involves the body’s immune system. Normally, your immune system works to fight off viruses, bacteria, and other infectious agents. When you have an allergy, your immune system treats a harmless substance, like dust or pollen, as a threat. To fight this perceived threat, your immune system makes antibodies called immunoglobulin E (IgE).
Substances that cause an allergic reaction are called allergens. Besides dust and pollen, other common allergens include animal dander, foods, including nuts and shellfish, and certain medicines, such as penicillin.
Allergy symptoms can range from sneezing and a stuffy nose to a life-threatening complication called anaphylactic shock. Allergy blood tests measure the amount of IgE antibodies in the blood. A small amount of IgE antibodies is normal. A larger amount of IgE may mean you have an allergy.
Allergy blood tests are used to find out if you have an allergy. One type of test called a total IgE test measures the overall number of IgE antibodies in your blood. Another type of allergy blood test called a specific IgE test measures the level of IgE antibodies in response to individual allergens.

Cancer Genomics (CGX)
By analyzing a patient’s DNA we are able to search for specific genetic variants that put one at an increased risk of Hereditary Cancer.
Quantum uses the latest advances in technology to analyze a patient’s sample. Thus, providing comprehensive reports of genetic variants and risk factors. The ordering physician, supported by our genetic counselors, is able to formulate a treatment protocol to address any negative findings. Awareness of one’s risk factors allows patients and their physicians to take a proactive, rather than reactive approach to managing identified risks.

Gastrointestinal Panel
22 TARGETS IN ONE TEST
Quantum’s Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel tests for a comprehensive set of 22 gastrointestinal pathogens. Quantum’s GI Panel tests stool specimens for common pathogens associated with gastroenteritis. Quickly identifying the correct pathogen can ensure appropriate treatment, patient management and help decrease infectious gastroenteritis which can lead to severe illness or death.

Pharmacogenetics (PGX)
Pharmacogenetics or pharmacogenomics is the study of how genetics impact pharmacology. Pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing is used for determining how an individual will respond to a particular medicine. Clinicians use pharmacogenetic testing to provide personalized medicine rather than using the population-based or one size fits all approach. Pharmacogenetic testing may also improve medication adherence.
Pharmacogenetics testing provides insight into a patient’s metabolic pathways. Knowing which pathways are functioning normally or abnormally allows a physician to prescribe medications as intended by the drug manufacturer, select the most appropriate dose, and even the best drug for the patient.
We can now identify patients who have variations or mutations in the genes that control certain drug metabolic processes. Knowing whether a patient is an extensive/normal, poor, intermediate or ultra-rapid metabolizer of a medication allows for patient-specific guidance on which medications should be selected or avoided, and the optimal dosage to prescribe. This avoids a lengthy trial and error process and is a tremendous advancement in healthcare.

Respiratory Pathogen Panel (RPP)
Quantum’s Respiratory Pathogen Panel tests for a comprehensive set of 20 respiratory viral and bacterial pathogens and is able to provide results back to the physician with in 24-48 hours.
The Respiratory Panel identifies the most common viral and bacterial pathogens that cause respiratory tract infections that present with nearly indistinguishable symptoms. The rapid and accurate identification of the causative agent helps determine how a healthcare provider chooses to treat an upper respiratory tract infection.

STD Testing
The Comprehensive 8 STD Panel (urine and blood) tests for several sexually transmitted diseases at the same time at one low price, including HIV, Syphilis, Herpes I and II, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Hepatitis B and C.
If you’ve had unprotected sex and notice unusual symptoms, you could be infected with a sexually transmitted disease. Even if you don’t have any visible symptoms, it’s possible to have an STD and spread it to another person.
If you engage in risky behavior (unsafe sex), it is recommended that you get tested frequently to prevent transmission to others. If there’s a chance you’ve been exposed to an STD, it’s critical to find out as soon as possible.

Urine Drug Screen
The past decade has seen a significant increase in prescribed analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs for managing chronic pain, but more than 40% of patients report that their condition still hasn’t been adequately treated. This prompts clinicians to face the challenge of providing patients proper pain control while also keeping the risk of substance abuse at bay. How? With urine drug confirmation (UDC).
Unlike regular screening, this is a much more precise method of pain management, assessing compliance and detecting undisclosed substances. Our laboratory at Quantum Diagnostics is equipped to offer extensive drug confirmations with accurate results on abused drugs and prescribed medications.
Screenings like immunoassays are qualitative tests but due to problematic sensitivity, they can only detect the presence of a drug class and not the individual drug itself. For a far more precise analysis, all positive specimens should be put to test on a method called liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for confirmation.
Requests for drug screen confirmation in pain management and monitoring has increased substantially since 2008, and with our technical staff’s phased approach, you will always receive interpreted test results with pinpoint accuracy and clarity. Our new LC-MS/MS with increased sensitivity can simultaneously detect various drugs, opioids, and metabolites, while also reducing costs and eliminating the need for any additional testing.
